A method for evaluating the stability of the voice by analysing individual single period of a periodic signal had been described in this paper. The assessment of the stability of the human voice is of great importance in speech therapy, neurology, as well as in voice-controlled systems and public security. The duration of this oscillation is contained within a few milliseconds. The objective of the study was defined as the evaluation of the stability of the human voice with the use of Fourier transforms. The biggest problem was the breakdown of the recording to the smallest unit in such a way as to division method in a minimal way has affected the final results. Subsequently a preponderance the methods for assessing the stability of voice based on the FFT had been revealed. The results were compared to those obtained on a standard way, with using a statistical analysis, and conclusions were formed concerning the usefulness of this method.
