Abstract:

Spatial Distributions of Infrastructure in the Polish Regions. The aim of the article is to assess the level of development of selected elements of regional infrastructure in 2005 and 2014. Using the taxonomic analysis method of infrastructure development level of Polish provinces, variations of its status and availability for regions were measured. The grouping of regions by Ward’s method allowed designating the concentration of provinces similar in terms of regional infrastructure development. Test results show that Polish regions are characterized by varied level of technical infrastructure development, which has increased in the test years, while maintaining the lowest and highest ranking position leaders.
