The article contains the results of studies on the effect of the amount of energy supplied to the sintered layer of powder on the mechanical properties and accuracy of components produced by additive technology selective laser sintering (SLS). The material from which the samples were made was polyamide PA 2200. By appropriate modification of the operating parameters of the sample was obtained by modification energy density and number of laser scanning exposures sintered layer. Tensile tests were conducted for the samples made with the aforementioned modifications and research the quality of the top layer. Analyzing the test results, there was a significant effect of SLS process modifications on the mechanical properties, accuracy of the components and the microstructure.
