Abstract:

The purpose of the present work is to compare the structure and polymorphic phase, with respect to their potential optical properties, of titanium dioxide nanostructure and conventional powders. Morphology studies were carried out by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Raman light scattering technique was used to investigate the phases of the titanium dioxide powders. There was observed the difference in Raman spectra of studied powders - the difference indicates that the powders are in two different phases - anatase and rutile.
