This paper analyzes a semi-active pneumatic seat suspension system designed to reduce vibrations and enhance operator comfort and safety. A math ematical model of the seat and air-spring assembly was developed and validated
through simulations under different initial air pressures, accurately capturing the system’s dynamic behavior. A semi-active control strategy was implemented to adjust the air-spring stiffness in real time with the goal of optimizing vibration
isolation. Experimental results show that the controlled system achieves significantly improved damping of seat vibrations, especially at the optimal pressure.
