Abstract:

The present article discusses the possible use of life cycle assessment (LCA) technique to estimate the environmental impacts of the recycling process. The first part of this article is strictly devoted to methodological aspects of LCA and recycling of wastes, including the diagnosis of the situation in the recycling industry in Poland. The second part of the article describes a case study of the LCA analysis of dry waste recycling in the city of Kielce.
