Abstract:

This work concerns educational stand which presents construction and principle of operation of 4x4 drive systems with distribution gearbox. This article contains information which concerns different designs of other exemplary educational stands and justification for their use. At our work we do not delve into technical details of different mechanisms’ construction which are used in 4x4 drive systems, but focus on acting elements used to build the educational stand. This work contains information concerning details of realization, principle of operation and assumptions which guided building of the educational stand. The didactic possibilities offered by the stand are described in detail. The stand can work at four different working modes, each one allows to simulate different conditions of traction independently for each wheel.
