Od czasu kiedy słynne zrujnowane miasto na pustyni zostało odkryte, dzięki licznym rysunkowym panoramom publikowanym w XVIII wieku Palmyra stała się sławna. Zabytki zostały odsłonięte i przebadane. Stało się jasno że reprezentują indywidualny charakter dekoracji i konstrukcji. W 2015 zabytki te zostały zniszczone co zasadniczo zmieniło krajobraz Palmyry. Odtworzenie zabytków jest możliwe i absolutnie konieczne. Istnieje potrzeba przywrócenia poszczególnych zabytków ukazujących ich dawna konstrukcję i tworzących charakter krajobrazu. Oba działania odtworzą kulturowy krajobraz starożytnej Palmyry, miasta tak ważnego w starożytności.
Since the famous ruined ancient city at the desert had been discovered the site of Palmyra be came famous, due to numerous panorama published in the XVIII century. Its monuments were discovered and researched. It becameobviousthatthesemonumentsrepresentsveryindividualcharactedof decoration and construction. In 2015 main monuments had been destroyed what considerable changed the landscape. Reconstruction of the monuments in Palmyra is absolutely needed and possible. There are need to reconstruct individual monuments to recover their original building technique as well as recreate the character of the landscape. The both actions will restore the cultural and as cape of ancient Palmyra, so important site of the antiquity.
