Streszczenie: Kościół w Zakopanem na Olczy jest interesującym, współczesnym obiektem architektury sakralnej, który eksponuje kontynuację drewnianej tradycji miejscowej i wyraża tożsamość regionu – „ducha” architektury podhalańskiej. Kompozycja całego założenia oraz formy głównych brył, stanowiące kontynuację tradycji modernistycznej, zaczerpnięte zostały ze stylistyki góralskiej i tradycyjnego drewnianego budownictwa regionalnego, z jednoczesnym twórczym ich rozwinięciem.
Twórcze transponowanie miejscowej formy sprawiło, że kościół zachowuje wybrane, wartościowe elementy tradycji drewnianej architektury sakralnej, z dostosowaniem rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych, technologicznych i doborem materiałów budowlanych, do współczesnych wymogów. Detal architektoniczny, strukturalny współgra z tektoniką bryły i sprzyja harmonijnemu wtopieniu architektury kościoła w otaczający górzysty krajobraz. W odbiorze wnętrza szczególną uwagę zwraca stylistyka poszczególnych elementów – wykonanych w drewnie i umiejętnie przetworzonych, z drewnianą dekoracją opartą na motywach detalu ludowego zdobnictwa podhalańskiego. Dzięki zastosowaniu rodzimego detalu, projektaci uzyskali w efekcie oryginalną współczesną formę, zespoloną z architekturą całego kościoła, a zarazem doskonale nawiązującą do otaczającej ją panoramy Tatr.

The composition of the complex and forms the main blocks, which are a continuation of the modernist tradition, were taken from the highland style and traditional wooden building regional, combined with their creative development.
Church in Zakopane Olczy is an interesting, modern facility sacred architecture that exposes the continuation of the tradition of local wood and expresses the identity of the region - the "spirit " of architecture Podhale. The composition of the complex and forms the main blocks, which are a continuation of the modernist tradition, were taken from the highland style and traditional wooden building regional, combined with their creative development. Creative transpose local forms meant that the church retains selected, valuable elements of traditional wooden sacral architecture, the adaptation of design solutions, technology and choice of building materials, to the modern requirements. Architectural detail, structural tectonics interacts with solids and promotes harmonious merging church architecture in the surrounding mountainous landscape.
The reception interior design pays special attention to the individual elements - made of wood and skillfully processed with wooden decoration based on the motifs of folk ornamentation detail Podhale. By using native detail, the designers have obtained as a result of original contemporary form, the complex architecture of the whole church, and at the same time perfectly reminiscent of the surrounding panorama of the Tatry.
