Abstract:

The results of numerical computations of the stress fields inside and outside inclusions and interstitials are presented. The boundary conditions were defined after uniaxial tensile tests on the specimens made of the Hardox-400 steel. Also the relation between the T stress and displacement field in front of the crack, established earlier, was taken into account. The model takes into account various inclusions shapes. Multi-scale of the analysis results from the boundary conditions established at the macro-scale, the elementary cell was defined at the meso-scale and inclusion was modeled at the micro-scale.
