Abstract:

Features of gas seal calculation depend on the density of the gas pressure and temperature. They haven’t been reflected in the literature yet. The proposed work intends to be seen the first approximation of filling this void. Analytical expressions of gas-static stiffness, static and flow characteristics have been received. The effect of gas compressibility has been evaluated. Boundary values of relative pressures were defined as well.
