Abstract:

A general vibration control method for flexible rotors with unknown and/or slowly varying parameters is presented. A digital controller has a built-in filter. This allows the rotor model to be reduced to several controlled vibration modes. Unmeasured second order derivatives are eliminated during parameterization of the rotor model. A modified weighted least squares recursive algorithm is used for the estimation of rotor parameters.
