Abstract:

As a result of the investigation of the expansion of freezing aggregate in a free state and in the resin matrix a two-phase character of its deformability is confirmed. The author presents his own conception of the destructive mechanism of frost action in concrete aggregate. This mechanism is primarily due to water crystallization.
